DUNGAVIN WESTIES
Angie
Beinarderie Angelica
Born 22-January-2021
Angie was an unexpected surprise in that we weren't expecting to purchase her so soon. We had only reached out to her breeder and mentor asking to be added to her waiting list for a future breeding girl. To say we weren't ready for a puppy at that time is an understatement. We had 3 weeks to prepare for her arrival and what a delightful puppy she was. We learnt very early on that Angie loves water and would try and go swimming in her water bowl. We eventually realised that this was part of who she was and loved swimming, so we invested in a wading pool for her, which she loves, and this love of water has been passed on to her pups.
Angie has had three litters.
Her first litter to Finn produced 6 beautiful puppies and lead to us keeping Bear and Bella. We weren't planning on keeping Bear, but Bear was born outside (Angie had a call of nature) and Andrew fell in love with him, so we decided to keep him. Keeping a girl from that litter was always planned and Bella was the lucky girl that stayed.
Angie's second litter also to Finn was huge. She gave birth to nine, yes nine, healthy puppies, naturally. Angie being the fantastic mum that she is raised all nine puppies on her own with minimal interference (no bottle feeding ) on her own.
Angie's third and final litter was to Tavish, an outside stud and resulted in 4 healthy babies after an emergency c-section, where unfortunately one little baby didn't make it. All four babies are healthy and we have kept the only girl (Evie) from this litter whom will hopefully continue on Angie's line.
Angie has now retied from breeding but will stay with us as matriarch of our pack.
